Welcome to Mananchira Square
Mananchira Square is a Park situated in center of Calicut City, it offers very beautiful, clean and silent atmosphere. 











Mananchira is a man-made freshwater lake situated in the centre of the city of Kozhikode (Calicut) in Kerala, southern India. The lake is 3.49 acres (14,120 m2) in area, is rectangular in shape and is fed by a natural spring. Mananchira Square is named after the man-made lake Mananchira around which it is situated in the centre of the city. It is named after Manadevan Samoothiri, the erstwhile ruler of the Kozhikode Kingdom, known as Mana-vedan Chira (pond) and later transformed to Mana-an-Chira.





Thushargiri consist of three waterfalls, they produces a snowy spray, which gives the name, 'Thusharagiri'. Of the three, the highest waterfall is the Thenpara that falls from an altitude of 75 meters.
Situated at Kodencherry in Kozhikode district
Trekker's start early morning from the second waterfalls at the hills and climb up through the evergreen forests teeming with exotic birds and animals to reach Vythiri and Waynad district by evening. The place offers challenging trekking and rock-climbing through river path and numerous waterfalls
The place has a crocodile farm run by the state forest department.
